Please join us for eight weekly two-hour sessions to learn the fundamentals of Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication and how they apply to raising children.  \nSusan Wildin\, MD\, CPC\, a former developmental pediatrician and transformational life coach\, will facilitate Heart Centered Parenting. DESCRIPTION:Introducing our brand new Virtual Book Club starting February 24\, 2025!\nThe club will meet weekly on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time.\nWe invite you to a light-hearted space where we will gather (via Zoom) to practice and share skills that support presence and connection. The emphasis will be on learning and growth\, having fun\, and connecting.  \nPlease join us for the book club’s first selection—a fun\, safe\, collaborative romp through Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication\, A Language of Life\, 3rd edition. We will use the Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook to provide structure and practice ideas as we deepen our connection with the author’s wonderful wisdom.  \nBoth books are available for purchase: click here for the book Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life  and here for the workbook Nonviolent Communication Companion Workbook. \nFor this first pair of books\, all participants will be invited to take turns selecting the practices and guiding the discussion for one of the chapters. The chapters are short\, and each week\, we will discuss the chapter read before the meeting. The group may elect to spend more than one week on specific chapters.
