DESCRIPTION:Children are a precious resource. We’d like them to grow to be confident\, responsible\, and kind (and many other things). How can we shepherd them from infancy into young adulthood with the resilience and wisdom they need to succeed and still have a loving relationship with them? \nHeart-centered parenting is for anyone who has a hand in this very important process—parents\, grandparents\, caretakers\, and teachers. Please join us for eight weekly two-hour sessions to learn the fundamentals of Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication and how they apply to raising children.  \nSusan Wildin\, MD\, CPC\, a former developmental pediatrician and transformational life coach\, will facilitate Heart Centered Parenting. This workshop will run weekly on Tuesdays on Zoom from May 13\, 2025\, to July 1\, 2025\, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. CDT. \nRegistration is required so you can receive handouts and the Zoom invitation prior to the meeting. Susan requests $180 for the 8-week course\, but any amount will be accepted gratefully. All funds received will go to support Houston NVC.
